61st NATIONAL CAGE BIRD SHOW · Tulsa, OK · 2009 SHOW REPORT
 
The 61st National Cage Bird Show was held November 19-21, 2009.  The show was hosted by The Oklahoma Cage Bird Society and the National Cage Bird Show.  It was held at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel in Tulsa , Oklahoma .  There were 2,255 birds exhibited by 201 exhibitors from 29 states, Puerto Rico and Canada.
 
The Scannell trophy for best bird in show was awarded to a Fife Canary exhibited by Petro & Ogla Sinis.
 
The Songbird trophy for best songbird in show was awarded to a Spanish Timbrado exhibited by Omar Vasquez.
 
The Charles Anchor award for best foreign bird in show was awarded to a Cockatiel exhibited by Josh Maple.
